Stitch Kitchen

“Stitch Kitchen” is a sewing pop-up event created for existing communities of sewers and new communities of makers to share their knowledge, learn a new craft, meet new people and relive tradition! This is for those with the love for hearing the heavy, steel tailor scissors crunching across the wooden table as meters of fabrics are cut into shape.

The idea is for 'Stitch Kitchen' to make its appearance all over bars and cafes across London and now Amsterdam, bringing sewing closer to you. These cafes will be decked out with sewing machines, fabrics and thread. You can book classes, rent the machine by the hour, or grab food and drinks from the bar and sit back to enjoy the creative festivities.

Stitch Kitchen grew out of an initial creative project, Kuku Big Bag. This is a bag design adventure that I had set up about a year ago to feed my love for sewing and designing bags. It now has a range of fabric and leather bags and accessories. Come and check it out.
